I even installed a new add-on to bring back the only thing I really miss, the status bar. Things are moved around a little, but it isn’t completely awful and I am getting sick of fighting with how Mozilla wants me to do things. Yesterday I grew frustrated and decided just to see if I could get use to the new interface and live without Classic Theme Restorer. The next day I found Classic Theme Restorer deleted again, but it for some reason it left the others I had reinstalled alone. I am reasonably sure the problem is caused by Avast being overprotective, because its name keeps coming up in the Avast and Firefox forums I have posted my problem in.įriday night I grew tired of waiting for a clear answer in the forums and started reinstalling many of my add-ons and things were pretty much back to normal because it seemed to have left my add-on preferences intact.
